The vision from the Department of Defense CDMRP Peer Reviewed Cancer Research Program is leading convergent science in cancer research. With this new initiative in FY2020, CSVCC is a convergent approach that combines advances from diverse scientific disciplines to improve outcomes for patients. This program is led by Dan Theodorescu at Cedars-Sinai and Peter Kuhn at CSI-Cancer: USC Michelson Center Convergent Science Institute in Cancer and started with eight early-career investigators and has recently expanded to 15 in its second year.
